Bucknell game notes.

http://m.bucknellbison.com/mobile/ViewArticle.dbml...

No callout in the text on Moore’s status. However, if you open the full pdf game notes it says in the blurb next to Moore, “Suspended indefinitely (violation of team rules)”. Doesn’t definitely mean he is out tomorrow though...

Suspended Indefinitely does not sound good. I wonder if he might be on academic probation. This is not something that happens at Bucknell all that often.

Doesn't definitely mean he is out - and I am hoping he plays - but the Game Notes for the semifinal identified both Toomer and Newman as having been reinstated. Not a good sign that Moore will be available.

With Colgate starting three players 6-7 or taller, his defensive ability and length are very important. It is tough for Toomer or Jones to guard 6-7 SF Swopshire, who was All-PL this year.

It is definitely not academic probation or anything to do with academics.

Vegas is out with Bucknell -8.5. I think that is pretty close to what the mathematical rankings would project.

ESPN’s BPI gives Bucknell an 85.5% chance to win.

The key is getting off to a good start. We won’t come back from 10 points down at the half for a third time.

In case anyone was wondering, BU has won 19+ games 16 times. Have won 12+ PL games ten times. (Until the last few years, there were only 14 league games, so it used to be very difficult.)

Unfortunately the computers don't factor in the absence of Moore plus Thomas playing with a mask that clearly affects his game.

Moore is such as disappointment however he is also watching the team without him. I’d love to know what he did and sucked Avi and Paul into.

Watched back the first half of the Maryland game yesterday. What a performance. I have absolutely no iintention of watching the second half. That 1st half and Sunday’s game were as dominant as we have been all year, and I think the team knows that that is how they must play tomorrow. If CU is able to hang around tomorrow, I do not like our chances of beating them for a third time. I expect to see the team we saw Sunday. Anything less and it could be NIT.

I don't think he was any kind of ringleader. Pretty sure all three deserve equal blame. However, as a second-time offender, Moore got the more severe punishment.

Following up my previous post, a few on this board thought that this team might be the Bison’s best ever, and it might be. But to date, the team does not have the marquis accomplishment to support that belief. Our best win is vs Vermont, and while it was a good one, it stands alone and is not in the class of Pitt or Syracuse of years past. The only chance these guys have to stake their claim to one of the best, or even THE best is to get to the dance and cause some damage. It all starts with Colgate, ranked 200 by kenpom, but a team that has been very tough on us this year. The Raiders are responsible for 2 of our 3 lowest scoring games of the year. It is time to step up!

I sure hope the weathermen are wrong. Making the trek out from the NYC area tomorrow is looking rather dubious...Fortunately central PA looks like they will miss most of the storm so locals should have no problem getting there.

I agree. Avi is what, 20 years old? Even Paul is old enough to make his own choices and obvioiusly, whatever it was was a poor one. I teach elementary students they are responsible for their own choices, for goodness sakes. To say Bruce is to blame for the choices and actions of others is wrong.

Yes. Although there is a fair amount of Colgate football talk on AnyGivenSaturday.com and a little bit of Colgate lax talk on Laxpower.com.
