Our crowd was just awesome. During the 24-2 run, it was just bedlam. Definitely one of the highlights of my sports viewership life. Still high as a kite.
But why no rollouts?

I'm still a bit hoarse this morning from yelling so much.

My voice is gone and it's totally worth it. As for parking on Walnut, there were no spots left.
I will certainly quibble with that 10% number. I'll go lower to 20%, but it wasn't 10. Again, knowing the way that Penn fans travel, do we really think it would be 50/50 in Bridgeport?

I just spent the last 1.5 hours watching that game again. Say what you want about that broadcast and its announcers, but the camera crew did an excellent job of capturing the fans at the Palestra when the going got good. Lots of students appeared to be in that crowd, both genders, extremely enthusiastic.
The announcers probably spent more time praising the Palestra than they did Penn (perhaps they favored Harvard in this respect to "balance" their going ga-ga over the Palestra, which is pretty lame).

There are also a heck of a lot of Penn fans in metro NYC for whom a trip to Bridgeport would hardly be considered a "trip".

Would love to watch it again, but it doesn't appear ILDN will replay it.

Actually, the semi-finals are now available on ILDN. So maybe I just have to be patient.

So am I but it was worth it! Agree that the crowd noise during the Penn run was as loud as I have EVER heard the Palestra (and that's going back more than 50 years) - maybe I'm just hearing better in my old age. I am so happy for these guys - they are a great group of kids and worked their little tails off to get here. And, most important of all, PENN BASKETBALL IS BACK!!!!! Thanks to Steve Donahue, the coaches and this TEAM of players. Now it's time to make history and be the first 16 seed to beat a 1 seed. I'm just going to click my ruby red slippers three times and then it's off to Wichita! See (some of) you there!

It's great to be retired, isn't it? Of course, you would have gone even had you not been retired.

It's still accessible on WatchESPN's replays, and looks like it will be for at least another week.

FWIW, the video ends right when Betley is about to step to the foul line after the near steal, so you don't get the bedlam after Penn wins... At least it did when I watched it...

If you go to the regular ESPN MCB website (even after they take down the replay on Watch ESPN), go to the Penn-Harvard game. There are quite a few videos from key plays in both halves, including Harvard's last possession and the ensuing craziness.
