Since Asia’s thread took a tangent (looking at you PN and HDG), I’m replying here. Looks like a very intriguing late prospect. Played at a good program, per Twitter seemed to score and rebound a lot, has a nice shooting form and hit a ton of 3s in his highlight reel.
If nychoops is out there watching would love to hear if he knows anything about him. With good size at 6’6†and 200 pounds, I’m wondering why offers were so light? Because he was a tweener?

Oh, one more note - this definitely doesn’t seem like the skinny 6’4†shooter that didn’t get D1 offers due to being slight that Chip mentioned, so wondering if this is final piece of the class or if we’re still looking at JuCo player or Delaware shooter.

According to UD website. Delaware, Lafayette and FDU offered and many ivy teams showed interest.

I was thinking the same thing - Alex isn't slight. Seems like a potential "3 and D" wing.

Yeah, this is definitely not the guy I heard about in Wichita.

Anyone know if class is now likely done because SD was looking to add one player only or if there is a possibility of a 2nd addition?

Well, if we've offered to the Juco player, that's another possibility if he accepts.

The other possibility is the there was only one spot for a wing and Imegwu just took it.
We should all know how the process works by now.

We do? Cus I for one have no idea how it works. It seems like Ivy coaches collect players like my kids used to collect Pokemon (if anyone needs like 1K cards, let me know)
We have five guys leaving right? Dwyer, Mac, Caleb, Darnell, Sam Jones. Was Shawn Simmons still on the team?

OK, let me rephrase.
We should all know to not take "Team X offered Player Y" at face value until there's a confirmed acceptance. Because there's a lot that the vast majority of us aren't privy to.
And while Ivy rosters certainly feel unlimited, they really aren't.
So does that JuCo have an offer at this present moment? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nothing like making the tourney to attract some guys!
Looks like he could be good. I sure didn't like the turnaround one foot jump shot. Better not do that in front of SD next year.

There are no spots. There are just bodies. Didn’t Amaker at one point earlier in his tenure have something like 25 recruited players on the roster? He just kept recruiting over guys until they figured out the process.

Without an special knowledge I wouldn't rule out someone else (JuCo or no). It's not impossible that we need an AI boost.

There used to be a limit on the number of bb recruits you could take in any 4 year period. There isn't one now.
There are other internal considerations however - Title 1X for one. I remember when mens basketball was one of several men's teams asked to pare down their roster because there was heightened attention being paid to an imbalance in the male athlete to female athlete ratio at Penn.

Shawn Simmons was not on the team this year. We had 21 players. I highly doubt we will have 21 next year. So lose 5 (maybe more) and gain 2-4 is fine.
I think if they find players that fit the profile, they will get them. Max was an April commit if I remember. Caleb committed late as well
