Dan Martin in this morning's NY Post: "It's proving to be a tough week for players associated with Christ the King basketball. Just days after CTK lost Columbia-bound Niko Scott for a month after an appendectomy . . ." (and it goes on to talk about Stony Brook-bound Mitchell Beauford of CTK, who broke his foot).
What I want to know is, how can he play basketball without an appendix? Maybe they'll put in a prosthetic epilogue instead. It's amazing what doctors can do these days.
