URI must feel like crap---losing the guy who turned around their program to the next door neighbor locked into a terrible conference match for it, even though they offered millions to keep him. Interestingly, he chose UConn over Pitt, showing how bad conference matches kill programs. Ahh, for the old Big East.

URI took Hurley away from Wagner so what comes around goes around. Rutgers could have - and should have - hired him years ago.

He's annoying as hell when he's coaching against your team but he's a really fine coach. Wasn't he Zack Rosen's coach in HS?

I'll never forget the sideline antics of the game Penn played them a few years ago. However, it's obvious that he cultivates wonderful relationships with his players and they know he has their back. The two stories I keep thinking of are his graduating senior calling him the father he never had and the image of him breaking down on tv when his brother's team was selected. People like real emotion and he certainly brings that to the table.
