Was anybody else out there struck by the fact that we only lost to Villanova by 15 at Villanova on opening night? And we didn’t play badly at all that night. So somebody please explain why we wound up having such a mediocre year.

Because Villanova is much better than they played in the opener. Best time to have played them.

Yeah, it's deluded to play that game, but I too noticed that Villanova beat us by 15, while defeating Kansas (who beat Penn) by 16.

OK, CU is better than Kansas (not to mention Penn). It is proven.

We also had Castlin for Villanova, before he went down with his injury. But the simple fact is that we played a respectable game against a very strong team but basically went downhill from there with very few exceptions.

And, if I remember correctly, our guy, Mike Smith, was the best player on the floor that game. All very strange......

PC beat Villanova with comfort and Brown in OT. I guess Brown is better that Penn and CU.

Like I said, this exercise is really fun, as long as you don't take it too seriously...

That's essentially what I posted initially....some do seem to take it seriously, though. But as long as we are at it, Penn beat Dayton, who beat St Bonaventure, who beat Maryland, who beat Butler, who beat Villanova.

Well, EVERYONE beat Princeton this year (in the Ivies), so example number 3 works for every other team in the league.
