CBS's Jon Rothstein reporting that the Tigers will be playing St. John's at Madison Square Garden on December 9th, as part of the 2018 Holiday Festival which will feature another unannounced doubleheader. St. John's finished the year at KenPom #74 and graduate only one senior. Rising junior G Shamorie Ponds, who averaged 21.6 PPG last season, is currently testing the NBA waters, while fellow rising junior G Marcus Lovett will return after missing most of last year hurt. Should be a good team, especially if Ponds returns. Last year they beat Duke and Villanova in back to back games.
Additional games that I could find:
Starting a home and home series with Arizona State this year, with this year's game being in Tempe on December 29 https://www.fanragsports.com/news/rothstein-asu-an ...
Finishing off a home and home with George Washington, who'll be visiting Jadwin this year with date TBD. https://www.fanragsports.com/news/george-washingto ...
Haven't seen any other games yet, but probably safe to assume some of the usual local suspects (St. Joe's, Lehigh, Lafayette, FDU) will be on there as well

Per CBS's John Rothstein, Princeton will play Iona as part of a quadruple header in Atlantic City on December 15th. Iona was 20-14 (11-7 in the MAAC) last year, finishing at KenPom #137 and won the MAAC tournament, losing to Duke in the NCAA Tournament. Temple/Davidson is the other announced game, others are TBD.
Shaping up to be another tough December for the Tigers…
12/9: vs. St. John's (@MSG)
12/15: vs. Iona (@Atlantic City)
12/29: @Arizona State

Duke released its non-conference schedule and will host Princeton at Cameron Indoor on 12/18/18. Duke will also host Yale on 12/8/18.
An earlier comment mentioned Jon Rothstein's post about a game vs St. John's at MSG on Sunday December 9th, which is planned to be part of a Holiday Festival doubleheader. As of today, there is no mention of the game at the MSG events page. The MSG site does list the Seton Hall-Kentucky on Saturday 12/8/18.
Last summer, the New Haven Register noted that Yale would be playing Temple at Madison Square Garden as part of the Under Armour Reunion on 11/30/17, but that game never happened. Hopefully, the Princeton - St. John's game gets finalized and posted to the MSG events page.
11/24/18 at Monmouth
12/9/18: vs. St. John's (at Madison Square Garden)*
12/15/18: vs. Iona (at Atlantic City)
12/18/18: at Duke
12/29/18: at Arizona State

Non-conference schedule is extremely challenging. One thing that you can say about Mitch is that he rolls the dice with the addition of IvyMadness. The boys will be facing very tough competition with some games at hostile sites. Does he know something that Tiger fans do not know?? Time will tell.
Arirguzoh better mature quickly to play against some of these non-conference opponents and Jaelin better be the real thing to avoid a long season.

Note that the Harvard web site's 2018-19 schedule shows that Harvard-Princeton game on the 15th of February, the traditional Friday date. I have to assume the schedule shown in the Crimson is in error.

With the early weekend games against Penn, it feels like a formal acknowledgment that this rivalry is no longer a recognized thing in the IL. Like putting the Harvard-Yale football game in September.

And especially odd considering the League has gone to great effort to promote the football game as a season-ending rivalry game.

You mean Harvard and Yale have ---everyone else has had their season ending game changed. Penn played Cornell in its last game since....that game meant something in the 1940s...this year Penn and Princeton meet in the finale.
But Harvard and Yale use fiat to prevent Ivy participation in the FCS championship and to keep that game the end-all of IVy football.

Many things go into making rivalries and over time they may change. In thr early days of football P-Y seemed a natural as they were the dominant powers of the first half century. Harvard then attempted to strengthen its program to the level of Y-P and supplant P. Not sure how much Y cared as it had two teams viewing it as the major rival. When I was a kid in the 50s growing up in Princeton, Harvard was viewed as an appetizer to our real rival, Yale. But, Dartmouth was always strong and was our final game plus the result often determined the IL champion. More recently, Penn has risen to dominance in the IL and seems an appropriate rival to P, especially since some of its (Penn’s) fans believe that it does not receive its share of Ivy notoriety and focus that resentment on Princeton. As far as Tiger fans are concerned, Yale and whoever is the current league power share the role of principal rival. Personally, I enjoy beating Harvard as much as anyone as the IL in general closes the celebrity gap between H and the rest of the league (perhaps a mirror of the way some Penn fans view Princeton).
