One of Brown's best, Gerry Alaimo (Class of '58), passed away on May 10th at the age of 82.
He was one of the school's best players, and coached the team from 1969-1978. In his 9 seasons in charge, he went 88-145 with his best season in '73-'74 when the Bears went 17-9 and 11-3 (tied for 2nd).
Alaimo was named to the 100th Anniversary Team in 2006.

An all-time Brown great. One of our most successful coaches and players. His 73-75 teams were very likely our best ever. Thanks for posting this.

Gerry was one-of-kind, an aquired taste, but worth the effort! RIP.
