June 28 edition of the Frederick Newspaper had a nice article about Zach. I can’t cut and paste it from my phone though. Said Zach chose the Jazz from a dozen offers because he felt he’d have the best chance to showcase him there.

Highlights from Tuesday's game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qib7sN_54ik
Zach is #37. Had some trouble on defense. That's probably going to be his limiting factor in playing at this level.

Appears Zach didn’t get as much opportunity as he had hoped. Too bad for him.

Normally in the summer leagues, the second-tier players only play every other game since the rosters range from 15-20 players. I expect Zach will see some time in their next game on Saturday. Given that he is a roster filler, I think the expectation for him is probably 10-15 mpg.

Even as a roster filler Zach is getting a valuable experience. He can see the speed of the game now and make an informed decision about where his next steps should be.

Interested to see how Nana fares in Minnesota's next game. Also have to say I'm disappointed that Stephen didn't get an opportunity to play in the summer league. I think he has the most potential out of the 3 to earn a spot on an NBA team's roster.

BF4, I agree with you about Brown. Most likely, he will end up making some Euro team very happy.

Agreed on a Brown and I’ve got to think it was his height that killed him. There are guys 6’5†who are as fast in the NBA. Still Brown had a lot of intangibles including being able to make his own shot. He made such massive strides his senior year.

Nana has apparently signed in Israel with Ironi Nahariya. They finished 8th last year in Israel's top league, which consists of 12 teams.

Israel likely ranks about 9th or 10th of the European leagues.

Yes congrats to Nana. I still find it difficult to believe that Stephen Brown has not been signed to play somewhere.

It's still fairly early for the second tier players. If he wanted to, I think he could have already signed with one of the weaker leagues, but he is likely waiting to see how the dominoes fall in one of the better leagues - or in a country that he really likes. I think you will see him sign in August after rosters start to become clearer.

I gotta tell you to be their age and play pro basketball in a European country and be paid for it? There are far worse things.
