Langborg was named 1st team All-San Diego this year.

This Prep Hoops article requires a subscription, but the opening part lists him as the #13 prospect in Southern California, and arguably the top shooter on the West Coast (I assume they mean basketball....)

"La Jolla Country Day 2019 Ryan Langborg comes in at #85 in Lindy’s Magazine top 100 seniors in the country."
Butchered the kid's name, but nevertheless an interesting nod from Lindy Magazine.

ESPNW has a profile on recent Fall '19 commit Eleanor "Ellie" Mitchell of Georgetown Visitation Prep, the #95 prospect on their HoopGurlz Top 100.
The article also profiles Penn commit, Silke Milliman.

I know the PU recruit's family well, outstanding basketball (really, all sports) credentials. She recently led her team to league title. See second part of Post article.

La Salle HS beat Roman Catholic last night and advanced to the state semifinals in Pennsylvania's largest enrollment class. Princeton recruit Konrad Kiszka had 18 points and the link below shows a picture of him celebrating near the end of the game.

Ellie Mitchell makes first team All-Met in DC. Nice blurb from an opposing coach. FYI, she comes from the same league that Bella Alarie played in. I don't know if they have played together before in a club league, but next year should be a great combination.

Georgetown Visitation plays in the stronger division of the ISL, ISL-AA, while NCS plays in ISL-A. I don't think they play each other.
And most if not all of Banghart's recent DC area recruits - Bella, Abby Meyers, Lexi Weger, Ellie, and Chetanna Nweke - play(ed) for the same club team - Germantown Lady Panthers.

Actually the teams move back and forth depending upon how they did the previous season. NCS played Visitation in Alarie's senior year, and I think the year before as well although I could be wrong about this.
https://ncs.cathedral.org/page/team-detail?from Id=...
Not surprisingly, NCS fell off dramatically following her graduation and moved back to the lower division a year later.

Konrad Kiszka made second team all-city in Philadelphia. He was also first team all-Catholic league. The 4 seniors on the all-city Philadelphia are all D-1 recruits.

Someone who is very close to Philadelphia High School basketball gives Konrad a BIG Thumbs Up with the one caveat that he needs to build additional upper body strength. He can jump and he can shoot.
As to another Philadelphia recruit, 6'11" C O'Connell, he has very big question marks. With Richmond gone next year, can Mitch rely on Much the following year as a C -- doubt it and then who is playing C one year later. Mitch will have to recruit a center next year for sure.

One more recruit for Princeton - Tosan Evbuomwan, a 6-6 forward from England who played for Great Britain's U18 team and for Newcastle in the Elite Academy Basketball League.

And in other Tiger recruiting news, Ryan Langborg was named Div III POY in CA, an honor he now shares with James Harden and Klay Thompson.
DIVISION III
Ryan Langborg (La Jolla Country Day) 6-4 Sr.
Just like the La Jolla Country Day boys team became the first from the school to win a CIF state title, Langborg has become the first boys player from the school to be a state player of the year. The Torreys, of course, have been known for their girls teams and girls players, including two, Kelsey Plum and Candice Wiggins, who were Ms. Basketball, respectively, for 2013 and 2004.
Langborg became a somewhat obvious choice for this selection in the D3 category with 25 points (including six 3-pointers) in the team’s victory over Fairmont Prep of Anaheim in the SoCal D3 semifinals. He added 20 points in the regional final vs. Crescenta Valley of La Crescenta and in the state final, a 67-39 win against University of San Francisco, Ryan had 23 points and 17 rebounds. He certainly showed he was more than just a long-range shooter, which has been more of his trademark the last three seasons.
A first team overall all-San Diego Section choice, Langborg went over the 2,000-point career scoring mark and ranks among the section’s all-time leaders. He will play next at Princeton.
And here’s a piece of trivia Langborg and Torrey fans will enjoy: He’s the first D3 State Player of the Year from San Diego since Los Angeles Lakers’ head coach Luke Walton earned the nod for University of San Diego High in 1998.

I love the explanation in the article:
"Princeton are part of the famed ‘Ivy League’ in the United States of America, a small group of elite level academic institutions. The Tigers, as they are called, also compete in the top college tier of NCAA Division 1, which will see Tosan compete against some of the best young basketball prospects in the world."
