Another very good Kyle Smith recruit. All three of Kyle's last bigs (Petrosek, Coby and Meisner) are playing pro ball along with Alex Rosenberg. My expectation is that Patrick Tape will join them in the pros. Of course, Mike Smith has an excellent chance to play pro ball, as a point guard.
The Knicks signed 5 players onto their main roster with Exhibit 10 contracts. These contracts provide a bonus of up to $50,000 for any player who stays with the Knicks' G-League team in Westchester for 60 days. This is done to keep these players from playing overseas.
Four of those players were released the next day and assigned to Westchester. Coby was given a non-monetary bonus of practicing with the Knicks and staying with them through Monday, when he will be reassigned to the G-League team.
