No Bryce, Seth or Corey, so all things considered, a 1-point OT loss to BC, which KP has at 66th and Bart has at 90th, is a promising outcome. Promising, that is, if Bryce and Seth can actually go to start the season.

The Crimson has been accustomed to great success against BC in the Amaker era-
no matter what the actual players have been.

Hopefully Seth and Bryce are being held back on a schedule for full recovery and participation. I recall that Corey didn't participate in Crimson Madness. Hope he's healthy for his senior year.

Yes, Harvard has been successful against BC going back to beating a top 25 BC team in 2009 behind Jeremy Lin. Regardless, as I observed after watching Crimson Madness - with no less than 6 non-freshman not participating - Harvard's depth is remarkable. Harvard was able to hold a quality 10+ person scrimmage, although 4 former starters, 2 of whom have been all-Ivy - were not participating.

Mr. James, in Corey's absence, wondering who filled that slot. I'm expecting it was Noah Kirkwood, although Coach Amaker is reluctant to start freshmen.

There is enough smoke around the Seth/Bryce injuries thing that makes me think it could be more serious. At a minimum it appears their health is in doubt. I have no idea the seriousness of their injuries, but these participation narratives (and lack of information) are more reflective of surgery rehab timelines than they are of precautionary holdouts.

Last year, I seem to remember that Jon Rothstein would tweet information about Aiken's playing status on Friday afternoons during the Ivy schedule.

With Harvard giving generic answers to their status, I'm guessing Rothstein would be the media person most likely to know what is going on with those two.
