The Hawks hire Lange. Call me surprised.
Not announced yet, right?
According to Philly.com, which is the Philadelphia Inquirer's online version, Lange is targeted, but they don't mention anything about a deal being finalized.

Billy Lange officially hired at St. Joe's.
93-113 at Navy and 0-7 in Patriot League tournament games. I do hope he does well there.

I can't see the St. Joe's faithful being excited about that hire. Then again, maybe Lange learned how to play better D while coaching an NBA team. (BTW, I doubt it!)

My buddy just told me that Jameer Nelson was very upset about the Lange hiring. Apparently, his son (Jameer, Jr.) is canceling his commitment to play ball at St. Joe's in 2020.

Well, judging by the Sixers games I’ve watched th last few years, there’s not much defense being played there, either.

hchoops posted this on the Holy Cross board. It is all about illegal activity in NCAA basketball and the ethics of being a fan of a sport that has so many issues:
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/03/28/sports/nca a-tou...
It would be nice to see CBS Sports do an entire program or devote a pregame or halftime show addressing the issues that the top programs are having, but due to 1,000,000,000 reasons, I do not see it happening.

Good for him. Hopefully he will do well, although it will be tough to do better than Tony Shaver did there. Despite having tougher academic standards than the rest of the league, W&M had winning CAA records each of the last six years.
Ironically Dane had interviewed for several jobs lower on the totem pole than W&M over the last couple of years without success.

Congrats to Dane. I always liked him and was initially disappointed he didn't get the job here. Coach Davis has done all right though.

Now Aaron Kelly has left for the head coaching job at Catholic U, his alma mater. Two big losses for DP's recruiting efforts.

Looks like starting next season the 3 point line is going to be moved back to the international 3 point line distance.

Yes - and a few other changes. I started a new thread on the subject at the same time you were making this post. Great minds think alike.

Bill Courtney was just hired by Jim Larranaga as an assistant at Miami. He formerly coached under Larranaga at GMU and Bowling Green. Most recently he had been an assistant at DePaul.
