Ohio State is up to 14th in the coaches' poll and 15th in the AP poll.
Pomeroy has OSU as an 18-point favorite.
That sounds about right. We'll do well to keep the margin under 20. ESPN gives us an 8.8% chance of winning.
Unless the Bison are H-O-T from behind the 3-point line, I would give them a 2.01586% chance.

Interesting Washington Times article on Nate Jones' dad, Mike Jones, whose Radford team has beaten Notre Dame and Texas this year:

St. Mary's came back from a big deficit vs a good LSU team last night but ended up losing by four. SM had a big rebounding edge but gave the game away with 19 turnovers.

Northeastern loses by 5 at Vermont. I’d think by virtue of our win at VT that helps us a bit in Pomeroy etc.

The way the Pomeroy model works, I don't think it will any effect, positive or negative. Everything gained by today's Vermont win is exactly offset by today's Northeastern loss, if I understand Pomeroy correctly.

Vermont has won 5 straight since their loss to Bucknell. Their other two losses were @Kansas and @Louisville.
If it's any consolation, both teams shot poorly from the FT line. NE could have made it interesting if they'd made a few more. Vermont was only 3-18 from 3 but scored enough inside to make up for it. Northeastern did not look like the team that played here.

Pomeroy's model predicted Vermont, the home team, to win 73-70. Final was 75-70. Not bad.

YSU jumped out to a 14-2 lead. I will be very surprised if the Buckeyes don't win this by double digits.

Vermont is struggling at home vs. St. Bona. Bona made their 1st six FG while UVM missed their 1st nine 3 pt FG. Anthony Lamb has 25 of UVM's 33 pts early in the 2nd half. Ernie Duncan is out with an injury and nobody else seems capable of scoring.

Just after I typed that Stef Smith scores 12 straight points to give UVM a 49-48 lead.

Not the most daring prediction, but very accurate. OSU ends up with a 75-56 win.
Vermont and Bona in OT.
Edit: Vermont wins in two OT's. UVM missing Ernie and Everett Duncan, plus center Ryan Davis. Bona missing two important players, including Griffin, who was injured near the end of their game with the Bison.

Lamb had 42 tonight. Also has scored 24 vs Kansas, 25 vs Louisville, 34 vs Yale, and 37 vs Harvard. In fact, he really has had only one poor offensive game all year, when he went 2-14 against some team from Central PA.

Bucknell, St. Bonaventure, Northeastern, and Vermont have all played each other this year. Interestingly, the A-10 team was 0-3 while the other three were 2-1. In Bonaventure's defense, two losses were in OT and 2OT. Their leading scorer also missed the Bucknell game.
