KenPom has Cornell listed as #276 and NJIT at #2016. It has NJIT as a 7 point favorite.
A big difference from Thursday night against Delaware.
At the half, Cornell is up 40-29. They were up 16 at one point, but NJIT got it down to 6 a few minutes before the half.
Morgan has 15 points (2-3 from two, 3-5 from three and 2-2 FT). Boeheim came off the bench to add 9 (3-4 from two, 1-2 from three) in front of his dad, who is in the audience.
Cornell is shooting 11-15 (73%) from two, 5-10 (50%) from three and 3-3 (100%) at the line.
NJIT is shooting 9-22 (41%) from two, 3-11 (27%) from three and 2-5 (40%) at the line.
Red holding a 21(3 offensive, 18 defensive) -11 (5 offensive, 6 defensive) rebounding advantage.

Final:
Cornell (3-2) 86
NJIT (4-1) 73
Morgan 34 (4-6 from two, 6-10 from three, 8-9 FT), Boeheim 15 (6-7 from two, 1-4 from three), Gordon 10, Warren 8
Rebounds:
Cornell 32 (7 offensive, 25 defensive), NJIT 22 (10 offensive, 12 defensive)
Julian 8, Morgan 7, Boeheim 6
Shooting:
Cornell 23-30 (77%) from two, 9-20 (45%) from three, 13-16 (81%) FT
NJIT 19-38 (50%) from two, 7-20 (35%) from three, 14-19 (74%) FT
Cornell 20 assists on 32 made baskets, 5 blocks and 40-24 advantage for points in the paint
Really good win that gives them a share of the title in the 1st ever Central NY Hoops Classic (3-1). They were hitting from outside and running a number of backdoor cuts.
If Cornell can make its shots early and get into a good rhythm, like they did in the latter parts of last year, then they can certainly surprise teams. If they falter in the field, like they did at home to Colgate and Delaware, then they are in for long evenings.

Didn't expect the shooting to bounce back so quickly, but it was nice to see. In about a 48 hour window we may have seen the worst game of the season and the best game (though I hope I'm wrong on the second part).
If Colgate beats Bingo tonight, there is a three way tie for the Central NY Hoops Classic title. Do the schools take joint custody of the trophy (4 mos. in Ithaca, 4 in Hamilton, 4 wherever NJIT is) or do they cut it in thirds?
