Four more buckets for AJ, two more threes and 6 more Made FT's and you get a six-point Penn win. AJ will do that most nights, but the FT woes are back and we are depending on two freshmen, Wang and Bryce for the threes. One hopes that those hopes will be rewarded by the Ivy season. Put Jelani and Ryan B on this team and you we would not need to hope.
At least Bryce and Wang are getting experience.
No improvement from Max. Dev is scoring more but is not creating for his teammates like a good lead guard does. Let's see how Steve handles the obvious development needs on this squad.

Watching these games, I don’t think predictability is the issue at all. The reason we are getting ahead of power conference teams early is that what we do on offense surprises them. The reason we ultimately lose is that we aren’t physically as good as they are. We can gameplan playing with them for a while, but once they adjust, they are usually going to win. In both of these games, we played worse once we got into a little hole and went away from what we do.
The idea that we should take higher risk, lower reward shots because they won’t be expecting it doesn’t seem to me to be the answer.
