I don't know what you mean by commenting that FDU is not an "overly skilled team." They shot pretty well, particularly from beyond the arc, making 15 threes, which seems to me evidence of skill rather than "athletic ability."I believe they are picked to finish 2d in their conference. Greg Herenda is a good teacher of the game.

FDU was shooting 34% on 3 pt shots going into the game, albeit a limited sample size, prior to the Princeton game along with 57% on the FT line. Last year, they shot 34% on 3 pt shots. FDU played athletically against Rutgers and they were done 10 pts in the second half but faded based on shooting and turnovers.

Edge had a very good game, shot exceptionally well -- he is their best player.

FDU is not a bad team but the Tigers need to win this type of game especially at home.

Of course the big problem in the second half was defensive. But the untimely scoring drought looked like it would have been avoidable if there were a greater commitment to team offense when under duress. It's one thing to rely on a go-to scorer to create for a last shot or in the last minute, but in the middle of a half that scorer should be moving without the ball, setting and slipping screens, etc. to receive passes for easy shots and open up things for others.

It isn't pretty to watch a Princeton team look like it has no scheme for using team play to amplify individual ability.

One bright spot: No happy-talk BS from MH, unlike some coaches:
