Great win!!! Moore played the way that we always wanted him to play. They are a different team when Sestina plays. Sooooo happy!!!!

Great win for sure. A rough first half but hitting shots in the second half is just what the team needed. For me, making shots has been the biggest issue this year. I get that defense is something that is always needed, but it seems the team has been giving itself no room for error with the poor offense the two games at home and the first half here. I know Davis will say different, but having the offense come through is what this team has been missing. Nice to see Moore make some shots, the team needs its experienced players to lead the way.

Brucie was the difference maker. Sparked the offense in the 2nd half and played stellar defense on Lamb all game. Avi knocked down his free throws and Nate was able to stay on the court in the second half to provide some much needed rebounding
First half was a bit dicey and we clearly were feeling the effects of 12 days off. Second half was a different story. What a win for this group

What a great 2nd half. Glad I missed most of the 1st. I will eat my words about not being able to defend Lamb. Moore & co did a stellar job on him. Good to see Bruce finally put together a complete game. Let's hope he can do that consistently. Great to have Sestina back. And Mackenzie hitting clutch shots like you'd expect. Still a long way to go, but they're back on track.

15 of 18 from the line including 3-3 from Toomer. Way to get that problem fixed.

I only saw the second half. I’m delighted Bruce had such a great half of hoops. With 5 minutes left we had two frosh on the court!
Very nice road win for the Bison.

This was a terrific win, but what is with these first halves? We have fallen behind by double digits in every game. If this was the first time it happened, i’d attribute it to the lay-off, but it seems to be a pattern. Improved FT shooting probably more a result of the players that went to the line, with the exception of Toomer who definitely was better.

Interesting quote from the Burlington Free Press Article:
"The second half they came out and hit us right in the mouth. We could tell they were playing harder and they played way harder than us the whole second half," Duncan said.

That is a concerning quote, that Bucknell was playing noticeably harder in the second half. Don’t know if it’s true, I wasn’t there, but it is something the coaches and players have to figure out. Obviously, Bucknell has not played good basketball in the first halves this year, and if one of the reasons is effort, that has to change. But I still believe that making some shots cures a lot of ills. Yes it gives you points, but I think it gives you energy and confidence in all areas of your game.

Not sure why, but it is a fact we fall behind in the first half. While that quite bothered me too, I’m not sure that I can say that we did not play hard in the first vs. VT. We just did not shoot well. We missed 3s, we missed layups, and the 10 foot step back jumpers that Kimbal is so good at. We missed everything. But we defended well imo. The difference in the first was our inability to make a shot. Not so in the second.

What struck me yesterday was how much our first half flow was impacted by starters in foul trouble. Avi, Bruce and Nate all missed significant minutes sitting with two fouls.
Compared to the 2nd half where the starters played the majority of minutes with limited bench rotation. I like Ben's contributions thus far this year but those 9 mins he played in place of Bruce/Nate in the 1st half were a big loss on both ends of the floor.
Agreed that making shots is a big part, but that continuity with a core group on the floor helped build the momentum tremendously.

Very very good win. UVM does not lose a lot of OOC games at home.
