Well this was a pleasant surprise from Belfast. The Big Green ran away with things early, building a 28 point lead on the back of scorching three point shooting (largely from Barry and Foye). They had their typical lapse, allowing Albany a 12-0 run to cut the lead to 17 at half, but then played solidly the rest of the way to close it out.
They ended 17-32 from distance, a mark that will get them some wins in the league. Better yet, they somehow outrebounded a much bigger Albany team 37-30 (coming in Albany had outrebounded their opponents by five a game).
Great work again from Chris Knight 20/8. More good things from Taurus Samuels.
Hope they get to see some sights.

Knight played well, but Barry was the show. How could that be left out? Watching the games it seems like they are grooming Knight to be Evan 2.0. He played well, but seems to have way more leeway than any other player. Jackson is as good if not better, but comes in and out of games more than Knight. Whatever wins I suppose, but that can't be good for team building.
It was good to see the Newzelander get some blow!

I haven’t watched a single game from Dartmouth yet, but FYI per Kenpom, Knight has played 70% of mins and Jackson has played 69.2% of mins.

If I had to make a guess, I'd say that the team was really embarrassed by its performance against Marist and was absolutely determined to show that they were better than that against Albany.

You should have seen 2000 (I think) when Buth/Boyd/McGinnis/Harris /Gee comprised about 95% of the minutes.

I did see in both Hanover and Philly since I covered the team for the radio...
BUT that isn’t my point at all. GBGB said “Jackson is as good if not better, but comes in and out of games more than Knight.â€
I was just pointing out he plays only a tiny % less minutes. I haven’t seen their games but that’s the math which goes against the observation.

You're right. Even stripping out the DIII games the mins difference is negligible. Watching the game it felt like he never came out. Maybe I have an subconscious bias. He had a great game and we won.
