Some chance, sure. A 26-4 record with 3 wins against the Top 75 should at least put an Ivy League team in the bubble conversation.

Lots of uncertainty in the various betting markets. Line ranges from Penn plus 4 to Penn plus 8. Vegas is at plus 7.5. Ken Pom is at plus 6.

Uncertainty if Penn is as good as some think and if Nova is or isn’t better than they’ve looked so far.

Great opportunity for the Quakers. Villanova had only a 6 point lead with several minutes to go with St. Joe's missing two starters including their best player. The Hawks shot less than 25% on their 3s and they are a good shooting team. Villanova is not the team that they have been over the past several years but a win would not only be an accomplishment but a big PR story for the Quakers and IL.

'Nova might not be the juggernaut of last year but the only two teams they've lost to (both at home--Michigan and Furman) are still undefeated.

My friends in Vegas say they are getting +8 and +425. The over at 140 may be the best bet

Going to be a very tough game as always, but should be closer than recent years if our guys put together a good game. If we can play well early and hit 3s, you never know what could happen. Here’s to hoping the good guys pull off the big upset!

Let’s Go Quakers!

All you curmudgeons will be pleased to know that the students have filled 220 and are almost to the top of 219.

Nice start--couple of 3's, strong layup by Goodman, effective defense

Getting a bit sloppy now. That was a bad bail-out foul call on Penn to start that 'Nova momentum the other way.

Hell of a good start. We know Nova is going to make their runs, but we are looking good so far.

Just too sloppy with the ball right now, and Nova is quick to convert every time.

Note how they're doubling Brodeur after he makes his first move. He needs to have a counter to that.

Right now our spacing is not ideal on offense and our passes are being telegraphed too easily.

Brilliant alley oop feed to AJ....has to knock that down, though.

Should have had 3 points on that possession and instead we get zippo.

Silpe at times has not looked sharp. That was one of them right there.

Although nice dish to Woods for the open 3 right afterwards.

That should be a T on the Nova player who took steps. Yeah, they called a charge but he also walked.
