Cornell gave away a game at Niagara yesterday afternoon. Losing 77-74 after Niagara hit a three pointer with 1.1 seconds left.

After Morgan tied the game with 2 FT, a Niagara player airballed a three from the right key with a few seconds left. Dominic Robb got the ball as it was going out of bounds and passed it to an open Keleaf Tate on the left side, who buried the shot. Cornell tried to draw a foul on the inbounds play, but the refs wouldn't buy it.

Morgan had 22 for the game, but he went 0-6 from the floor in the second half. He hit 4 of 5 threes in the first half, then went 0-3 in the second.

Josh Warren had a career high 20 and Boeheim had 12. Steve Julien had 8 points, 10 rebounds and 5 emphatic blocks.

Cornell was up 40-37 at halftime and 66-59 with just over 8 minutes to go. Unfortunately, they only hit one basket the rest of the way.

Warren is doing much better these days. He now has hit double digit scoring in 4 of his last 5 games and is averaging 13.8 during that stretch.

They have a quick turnaround for a game at home tonight against #302 Longwood. Hopefully, it's a big win.

Well, it was a win. 70-64 final after leading by 18 midway through the second half.

The Red were on fire from behind the arc, shooting 16-32. Which made up for 6-24 shooting from 2 pt range and 20 turnovers.

Warren followed-up his best game with a poor performance, but the sophomore class got a lot of run. Kuhn, Knapp, and Voss combined for 13 points and 6 assists, Boeheim was shooting well and McBride had a big steal and was clutch at the line.

Happy they gutted out a win, but it is hard to describe how bad a team Longwood is on offense.

Longwood did look bad, but they somehow beat a Richmond team that just knocked-off a decent Wake Forest team.

Friends of mine who are Wake grads would beg to differ with you on your description of the Deacs.

The Lancers weren't a bad defensive team, Cornell had no offense inside the arc, but they were so sloppy with the ball. Barry would say "Cornell forces another turnover" and Eric Taylor would respond "I'm not sure that was really forced."
