Pennsylvania is shooting 62.8% from the charity stripe this season.

Not. Best % of the regulars.
Leading scorer A.J. Brodeur is 55%.

Nice job of picking up on the Quaker fan trying to trick Coach Henderson as to who to foul. Maybe, we put in a suggestion box that the coaches decide on having a foul shooting contest rather than playing the game at Jadwin with Washington and Cannady taking 80 foul shots over 40 minutes in lieu of playing the game.
If by some chance Cannady wins, we might hear on this board about how the poor lighting effected Washington or how the ref unfairly handed the balls to Cannady vs. Washington.

Bobby's everything you wrote about, and his brother at UConn's even worse. On the other hand, without Bobby there, Princeton wouldn't benefit from playing Arizona State , home and home in successive season's. That's right- ASU travels to Jadwin next winter. For all his sideine zaniness, Hurley does have sense for fair play and loyalty to his home Garden State!

The thin and brittle skin of certain Princeton fans is so easily pricked. Finding snark where none was offered.

Pennsylvania loses at home to previously winless Monmouth.
Shoots 61% from the free throw line.

Tough assignment for Penn after a game two days ago, esp. with Brodeur the only real presence in the paint. Brodeur was obviously exhausted at the end. Sounds like Rothschild will be back on Saturday, but less sure about Wang. He had a "boot" on today and did not dress. King Rice has done a nice job getting his kids to continue playing hard at 0-12. At home the Tigers should have a fighting chance. The league is something like 14 games over .500 in the OOC. Pretty good showing .

Agreed on Brodeur being tired being a factor in OT, but the team as a whole, even short handed, played far too badly for far too long in the game and deserved the end result.

One thing that we have learned as Tigers fans is that things can change on a moment's notice --- Duke to Lafayette to ASU. I would anticipate that Penn will rebound for next Saturday and it will be a royal battle. Even if Penn did not stumble against Toledo and Monmouth, it is a rivalry game at the Tiger's homecourt with all the bad lighting and favorable refs so anything can happen. Quakers will probably still be the favorite and deservedely so.

Nice to see that Cannady received co-player of the week -- 2nd award this season and that indeed was a crazy good pass with time running out.
SB Nation did not even have Devin making 2nd team IL in their preseason predictions although they did note that he averaged 16.7 per game in his junior year.
He has raised up his game. Coach K said it all as to his skill level. Sportswriter got it right in grouping him within the best 30 3 pt shooters.

Add Lou Henson Player of the Week award to the list of honors for Devin. Hopefully, the 3s will drop on Saturday evening at Jadwin but one never knows about 3 pt shooting on a given night but Devin has added 2 pt shooting to his arsenal this year.

Tiger's homecourt with all the bad lighting and favorable refs
I understand they will use the old lighting system for this game (we've been practicing with it all week). The ref fix is fine as long as the alum who handled the payments isn't audited by the OAG for Medicare fraud.

Tiger Fans -- You MUST watch Hard Cuts #9 on the goprincetontigers.com website --- best one ever by far. The 18 minute video shows the impact of Bill Walton with the Tiger basketball team the night before the ASU game as well as after the game.
It would be ironic if Walton is part of the turnaround by the Princeton team although time will tell.

Mitch Henderson show did not discuss the topic regarding the status of Myles Stephens or Will Gladson for Saturday's game which was no great surprise as you want to keep the other team guessing.
Cannady and Arirguzoh along with Henderson were interviewed. You get the sense that Henderson is relying on Devin more and more as the leader. Nothing revealing other than the intensity level is being raised. It was interesting to hear Richmond discuss his approach to foul shooting especially the last two critical foul shots.
Banghardt on her podcast discussed the quality of Penn's defense especially their length. She discussed the importance of the Tigers strength of schedule as to preparing them for the Quaker game. She also addressed the possible impact of the blow out against the Quakers at the Palestra in the IvyMadness final - none.
