Matt Morgan rescues the Big Red by taking the game over in the second half (25 of his 27 came in last 16 minutes). Julian had a solid game -- 9 points, 15 rebounds, 4 blocks -- but otherwise it was pretty uninspiring.

This was a one possession game at the two minute mark, but the Big Red hit their free throws to inflate the final margin.

A win is a win, but being up two with two minutes to go against a Navy team that entered at #313 does not seem to be the place where Cornell wants to be at the end of December.

A rough first half, where Cornell went 0-11 from three. Luckily, Morgan took things over in the 2nd half and Julian did a good job on the defensive side (career high 15 boards - first time all year in double digits).

Even with Morgan leading the league in scoring again, it looks like this team will is looking at a 6th to 8th place finish in the league.

Hard to disagree with that. If Julian and McBride can find their shooting stroke, the Big Red could stay on the fringe of the race to make the ILT. If they continue to shoot like they have this year, avoiding last place will be a challenge.

And next year....
