That memory leads me to ask Otto, the preserver of all things Quaker - does any video of that rally exist?
I have about 5 minutes of raw footage (silent) from that 1979 pep rally. I just uploaded it onto my YouTube page. Here is the Link
When I have the time, I should try to determine whether I have the corresponding audio and, if so, try to match it up.

That's a great time capsule piece. I was 5 years away from attending Penn but the styles were familiar enough by then.
You have some great videos there. Love the Penn-Princeton '71 piece narrated by none other than John Facenda.

Found this article by Rich Hoffman (former DP sports editor) about Yoyo. He died about two months after the pep rally, so that appearance on the track at Franklin Field was probably the last time Penn fans ever saw his famous jig with his cigar stub clenched in his teeth. I’ll never forget his underhanded free throw technique.
