Congratulations to Coach Megan Griffith and her Lady Lions on their exciting 65-57 victory over Cornell at Levien Gymnasium this afternoon. This was an extremely well-played game by both teams with the Lions coming out ahead in what seemed to me a great all-around team effort. Columbia and Cornell both have outstanding coaches, but today was Megan Griffith's day as she surprised Cornell early with a full-court press, and then when Cornell struck back in the third quarter she switched tactics allowing Columbia to regain its momentum and pull away for the victory. Standout performances by several Lions, but particularly junior Janiya Clemens and freshman Lillian Kennedy.

Great reporting, as usual, P6. Very comforting to note that one of our coaches isn't so much into cadavers.
And with the results in Cambridge today being what they were, the game you're about to see may mean something- the Columbia men, despite having JimEngles and ChetForte allegedely on their side, remain in the hunt for an invitation to the
Ivy League's post season tournament; and this is not, mind you, fake news! Enjoy the game, sir. Actually, I'm sure you will!
