Was anybody else as impressed with Kostecka as I was? He shoots, scores, steals, has assists, and busts his butt on D. He would look great in Orange and Blue. Did we recruit him?

Clearly it’s 1 game at a time...but you’re at home and BU put a hurting on you at their place and then you got LU for a Monday night showdown...no WHOA! Win two and go 2 up with the tiebreak lead means you’re really 3 up because you can still lose two while LU needs to go 5-0. Point is...win two now at home and you’re in the drivers seat 💺ðŸ€ðŸ¥ƒ

Yes, Kostecka was impressive - except when he acted like a jackass and drew that technical. He committed to Holy Cross before his junior year even began - when Milan Brown was coach. At that time, it was his only offer although Bucknell and a couple of others had interest. After Brown was fired by Holy Cross, he decommitted from there. A few months later, he chose Loyola. At that point, it appears his only other offer was St. Francis.
He improved a lot his senior year in HS, and has continued to improve. Looks like he will make 1st team All-PL if he continues this standard of play.

I am excited we're 9-2 and would be thrilled to go to 11-2. This is a tough stretch, not that it's ever easy, which was my point. After Lehigh, we have two tough road games at HC and Colgate. A lot can happen in seven games. Coach Davis and the team have done a great job in PL play and hopefully can sustain that.

In its surprising (to me) win over Army, I understand Holy Cross used a different starting five. It's wise to be wary of a new-look 'Cross (and everyone else we play).

They started Floyd, Butler, Green & Grandison who I believe have started every game all year. I assume the change is Zignorski for Faw? Maybe just trying to keep Faw in for the end more (believe he DQ’d really early in the game at Sojka if I remember correctly). Army shot 26% from 2 and 20% from 3. You won’t beat the Lady Vols with those numbers. Floyd got 8 shots again. If they had any brains they ‘d scrap the Princeton address and go 4O/1I and pound the ball to Floyd. He’s a huge weapon in the PL that they don’t sufficiently exploit. He should be on the box and touch the ball everytime down. You get him 20 shots per game in low and HC is going to put a lot of foul pressure on opposing 5 men. Don’t know why they have him 18 feet from the basket. That said, Carmody is a relatively respected coach and they are 7-3 at home. All road games are a wrestling match but tough to beat Buck or LU scoring in the 50’s. Colgate on the road a nightmare as well

Actually the change was Zignorski for Benzan. Faw had not started since returning from an injury.
The bigger change was that Carmody actually used his bench for a change.
