A tweet from Bison Road Warrior:
"Career high! After last week’s trip to Lafayette and Loyola, I’ve traveled 24,027 miles this season with @Bucknell_MBB — more to come!"

One of the most impressive lines:
“Bucknell held at least a share of first place in the Patriot League on Feb. 1 for the fifth straight year and ninth time in the last 10 years.â€
I imagine this is something few teams can say across the country. Also, the team has a reasonable chance to finish with a better record than last year’s team...that is crazy given the losses in personnel. Still a lot of basketball to play and given the inconsistent shooting, things can go either way, but Nathan Davis and staff have to be doing something right.

Kansas and Bucknell are the only two programs to have outright regular season championships in 7 out of the last 8 seasons. The Jayhawks are currently tied for fourth in the Big 12.

Kansas btw has won or tied for their regular season championship for 14 straight years. However three times, including 2013, they only tied, so they have only 7 out of 8 outright championships, as you say. They are currently two games back in the loss column.

Cannot stand the arrogance or poor sportsmanship of the Bucknell coaching staff to not shake hands with opposing starters. Meanwhile, virtually every other team has a head coach or assistant shake hands with Bison players during introductions. Boaton’s Coach Jones shook hands and hugged every Bucknell starter. They can do as they please, just something I do not appreciate.

This 13-2 stretch since the 11:00 mark looks as awful as it sounds.
Close out the last 11:00 on the wrong side of an ugly 26-9 run.

How many first halves in a row has Sestina gotten 2 fouls? Feels like a lot.

I’m so tired of sestina being stupid with his fouls. That offensive foul was so unnecessary. He had an open jumpshot. Changed the entire half. Gave BU hope. If we stay up double digits for the half this becomes an easy game. Now we’re in a dogfight.

Heh, I was having the same thought. He's positively giddy today. We sure this game isn't being played at some neutral site outside Denver?
Go Bison!

Don't get me started on him.
Sestina's +/- should be great this game. He was the difference.

25 points in 25 minutes. I guess so. Kimbal’s 18 in the 2nd half didn’t hurt.

I usually find Birdsong to be somewhat endearing, but today, he was grating to put it lightly. The "you are my hero" thing makes me want to throw up every time that I hear it. Doug, please S-T-O-P!
As for Sestina, he is so talented that when he is in the game, the Bison are a different team. Unfortunately, STUPID fouls are the norm not the exception.

It was obviously good to get the win but I come away with some concerns. First and foremost, Jimmy isn’t even close to being right. He is constantly in pain and can’t shoot. He doesn’t even think about looking to shoot. That may eventually be a liability.
Next, we just struggle to find production when Sestina and Kimbal aren’t scoring. The end of the first half was without Sestina and Kimbal on the bench for some reason. And they gave the lead back. When Kimbal came back in the lack of offensive creativity had taken over.
And lastly...we really need Toomer 1) make his free throws 2) make more of an overall impact. I feel like he disappears too much.
I know I know, we’ve become spoiled and we should happy we are in first in a “rebuilding†year. Look we’re here now with the winning the league and going to the tourney in our sights again. I wish they’d clean it up at times.
