Should be interesting to see how the matchups play here. Yale will play a lot bigger than Brown. Hopefully Max is ok and has another 20 minute night in him. Our defensive depth on the perimeter will help (last year I thought we had a little bit of a problem guarding all 3 of their guards — we could take 2 away, but not all 3). As with Brown, I like how we match up with Yale, and I think we have more than a puncher’s chance tonight.

I don’t know what to say about the lack of interest in this. Weird. Down 4 under 8. We can’t buy a foul call down low while Yale is parading to the line. 3s not failing either. Yale turns have helped keep it close.

Two point game. It's been very sloppy on both sides. Neither team is shooting well.

4-16 from 3. Wang is way off and Bryce isn’t himself. Offensive rebounds have actually been on our side but we haven’t converted on them much. Oni getting his but making him work a bit. They need the 3s to drop. It’s that simple.

When's the last time Eddie Scott got into a meaningful game situation?

They try to go two for one and Woods bricks one horribly. Leads to a transition for Oni and a second foul on Woods. Bad exchange.

Chance after chance and they just can’t score. Sigh. Down 5 at half.

Lucky to only be down 5. Shooting has to improve.

Yeah, that was a pretty rough sequence. We had two pretty good looks to end the half, but our shots are way off.

We need to start the second half much stronger. Goodman's about the only one who's shot well so far.

How bad must it be for the Yale announcers to be complaining about the lack of calls that AJ gets.

Refs letting them play is benefiting Yale right now. Danger zone. Seriously, where is everyone? Don’t tell me most of you old heads have a life.

The number of points they have given up off of bricks is approaching 10. 15-51. Wow.

Max keeping them alive with follow ups and on a big possession Copeland goes 1 on 3 and gets a late call.

As usual, we're doing a good job running shooters off the three point line. The bad news is that Yale's offense is killing us everywhere else on the floor.

With a chance to cut it to 2 Dev turns it over. And now it’s 9.

Back down to 5. Brodeur has shown an effective left hand a couple of times so far tonight. Why doesn't he do that more often?

Fighting hard and a missed goaltend leads to a Yale and one. Brutal. Absolutely brutal. I’m having deja vu.
