It's interesting that Ellis thinks that he could step up and play PG if needed. Has anybody seen his ball skills? Could he handle the ball for an extended period of time?

Rather that he thinks he could than he couldn't, whether can could or not.

These are some pretty impressive numbers:
Bison seniors Kimbal Mackenzie and Nate Sestina have been sensational of late, particularly in the four games during the month of February, when the senior duo has combined for 186 points, or 53.6% of Bucknell's offense. Mackenzie has topped the 20-point mark in all four games, including a career-high 31 at Lafayette on Feb. 2, while Sestina has gone over 20 points in three of the four games while also averaging 8.8 rebounds per game.
LAST 4 GAMES PPG FG% 3FG% FT%
Kimbal Mackenzie 25.5 .536 .520 .906
Nate Sestina 21.0 .714 .467 .778

What a difference for Sestina from the last HC game at Sojka. Bucknell allowing HC to hang in but still, have a halftime lead. A lot of 3’s and a lot of misses...hopefully a better second half and another win.

Down 2 with 3:30 to go. Sestina, Sotos and Mackenzie combine for 14 turnovers.

Great job in the Second Half by Floyd. Pure beast.
Officials almost ruined the game for me. More replay than a NFL playoff and some absolutely HORRIFIC calls. Floyd fouled at twice and plainly by my count.
Still, hats off to the home team.

Awful awful loss. The turnovers happened way too often. What did we not know holy cross played zone? How do you not attack floyd when he played the last 10 minutes with four fouls. Davis should be ashamed of that performance. The team seemed sloppy and lazy.

23 turnovers. Lazy passes, dumb fouls and senseless overplays on defense. Shouldn’t lose to a team that has only 1 or maybe 2 legit players.

23 turnovers, 9-29 3-pt shooting and allowing Floyd to do as he pleases while in foul trouble are main culprits in this loss. End of game not getting foul in backcourt wasn’t why we lost but wasn’t great play by Bucknell. Funk stood watching assuming Kimbal would get the foul. Disappointing loss after some big wins.

The team looked tired very little energy. Hopefully they come out hungry on Tuesday if not same result will happen and a the league championship could be wide open!

Floyd was like a seasoned NBA player the first time we played HC, amazed Davis had no plan to slow him down, particularly with clear Bison advantages at other positions. Sad performance all the way around.

The only thing worse than losing is reading the comments here afterward.

Too complacent today....need to be deliberate with their play and bring back that sense of urgency on every possession.
Nice work BRW hitting the BU/Lehigh game..did you make it there for tipoff?

Very observant, BreakinBison. Yes, there was ample time. Of course, we weren't walking around Case Gym in our Bucknell wear with the swagger I had hoped for when the day began.
Sorry I couldn't help nudge the Terriers to the upset. I thought of some posters here as I yelled "Go BU!"
I think that was the first time I've seen two league men's games in the same day since the ECC championship tournament at Towson in 1989. Certainly my first ever in two different venues. The league commissioner was also at both the Hart Center and Case Gym today.
Any word on why Boston University's McCoy wasn't playing?

This loss in my mind was almost predictable. Just came through a tough stretch And Colgate looming, you just knew anything less than our best would not be good enough. Loss might do more good than harm in the long run. Thought HC played well, and made us work for everything. Still, game was there to be taken at the end. We just did not get it done.

Floyd, Butler, Faw, Grandison, there are four to start.

Getting the charge at the end was a smart play by Floyd, or a dumb play by Kmac, or both.
