A hard fought win when Brown was not a the top of it's game, perhaps a result of the previous night's game. DC was clearly feeling the effects of his brush with the flue, but he was incredible on D in the the closing minutes. Anderson was outstanding, and Okolie was terrific at both ends again. It's still an upward climb to the Tourney.

    In response to Old Bear

First sweep in a very long time. They did well to hold off two good teams. You wish they closed out better, but what matters is they closed.

I won’t say the thing any longer about it being good news that they can win when Cambridge doesn’t score from the field, because it looks like that’s part of Brown’s reality. These days DC is all or nothing from there. He either has it or he doesn’t. There hasn’t been much in the middle, and the difference between the two is remarkable. But he rebounded very well and had key defensive plays. If he doesn’t do either one, Brown may not win this.

Anderson has made a big difference. He played his biggest game of the season and Brown needed every bit of it. In control and fast, he gave the offense and the defense another dimension.

Hunsaker is slumping big time. Zero point - one assist weekend. Making the two wins even more impressive.

None of this happens without Okolie and T doing what they continue to do consistently. They have become the team’s foundation of scoring, rebounding and defense. They have been so good.

Uphill climb but a winnable weekend coming up would put them right on the cusp.
LET'S go BRU-no (duh. nuh. nuh-nuh-nuh)
