Great to see Brandon is finally out of the Coach's doghouse!! After the numbers he put up last year -- there was no conceivable reason for his benching -great to see he had the character to withstand such humiliation and bounced back with a vengeance. Hopefully, he won't earn his way back there !!

I suspect that he earned it, both ways.

Anderson did nothing to earn the doghouse -- after the numbers he put up the first 2 years -- he did not deserve to not only be benched, but not play a second in a number of games! We have seen this before with Martin --- anyway lets hope he stays on the court where he belongs!

Well listen, I love BA’s game. You have seen in these three wins how he was really impactful in the first two games of this little streak and how he was the difference in the Dartmouth game. When he is that guy, he helps them win. Nobody else on the roster can do exactly what he can do.

But before his benching, he was playing crummy. Some of that may have been hip-related, but he was doing the stuff he did last year down the stretch when he turned the ball over and shot poorly and went to the bucket out of control. Something had to change, and it did. I give the coaching staff credit for having the fortitude to make that call.

And maybe that’s worked. He has been the BA of old in these last few games. Setting up some easy buckets. Being explosive in the open court and aggressive on permiter D, and making shots. That’s the style they need from him to win 2 or maybe 3 of 4 to make the tournament.
LET'S go BRU-no (duh. nuh. nuh-nuh-nuh)

Big weekend -- we need 2 wins to control our destiny -- i am sure BA will get a lot of time, if not start. However , if u think benching him for two months was the secret of his recent success -- and credit that to Coach M -- you are sorely mistaken -- degrading and humiliating a student athlete does not get results. BA success is due to his talent and strength of character. Coach M has some positive coaching skills/talent, but managing/interacting with players is not one of them. Query : how many players from Coach M era have returned for alumni weekend ?
