Lions have taken max advantage of their relatively easy early schedule. It'll be interesting to see how things go against Hofstra when the 'traffic jam' game is played week after next. Like CU, Hofstra off to a lightning start with a relatively easy schedule. Big win today against St. John's (wow, does SJU have a long way to go).
Coach Jones has certainly turned around the 'losing' attitude that dominated for so long...hard to say how much talent is really on hand. Whatever, he's doing a great job.
BTW, if you've never been to Hofstra Arena it's a nice facility and the kind I'd like to think would be what every Ivy team should have. Not huge (5500 capacity), but not a HS gym either. Perfect size for a program at the Ivy level, especially if you schedule other local teams that bring fans with them.
Go Lions!

Congrats to all! Anybody know what kind of injury Justin Armstrong has? Update on Sweet? Could Baumann be ready for NC State??

Since you sound like you've been there, is it right on campus? And, where is the campus in relation to Manhattan? Thank you.

V, Hofstra is about 20 miles from midtown. Public transportation there is possible, but, I wouldn't recommend it. If driving you take either the Grand Central Parkway/Northern State Parkway or the LI Expressway to the Meadowbrook Pkwy...take Meadowbrook south to the Hempstead Turnpike exit, take Hempstead turnpike west about 1 mile and you come to Hofstra. The arena is located near the NY Jet's practice facility and Hofstra's athletic fields/recreation center.
