I thought that he sat out the first several games for the season with an injury. The original poster was just baiting. He occasionally posts inane remarks over on the Penn site.

Aririguzoh got so much better this year, they started to double him - and that was something he hadn't had to deal with before, and will be an area for improvement over the off season. Hopefully, Princeton will have the shooters next year to make them pay for the double teams

One would think that JL’s top priority in the offseason would be to develop a reliable three. He seems to be strong in all the other facets of his game.

In the current NBA, that would be almost a necessity. Not sure MH sees it as a priority for him now. And by the way, EVERYONE ELSE needs a reliable 3 also.

If I'm reading the stats correctly, he's shooting 36% on his non-3PTs, so I think developing a reliable 2PT comes first.

If Llewelyn had a reliable floater he'd be really hard to guard. He has little trouble getting to within five feet of the rim on his drives. He's also had success a couple of times jump stopping in the lane and shooting from in close--if he worked on the Jay Wright pivot in those situations he'd be able to score or pass.
But, yeah, better outside shooting would be a huge plus.

Jay Wright pivot
I like the Jay Wright "catch to shoot" philosophy and his emphasis on footwork.
Too much hesitation and pump-faking by our guys. Granted, the fewer shots you make, the fewer you want to take.

I agree that a reliable floater would be a big plus and it is something that Devin developed over time. If he can develop a 3 pt shot, he will even increase his God given abilitiy to get to the rim.
One thing that is overlooked regarding Llewellyn is that he had a fairly large number of shots blocked but the ball most often went out of bounds behind the base line. I doubt that there are statistics regarding the numbers but the Tigers often continued to have possession of the ball even though his shooting % was effected. They did lose some time on the shot clock.
The likelihood is that he will improve each year but time will tell.

In the final radio show of the year, Mitch had glowing comments regarding Richmond and it would not have been out of the question if he was named to 1st team IL. One got the sense from Mitch and Mongilia that Aiken or Morgan would have been very deserving to have won POY vs. Oni. They also talked about the excellent contributions made by Brodeur and Goodman in having Penn get the 4th slot.
Mongilia did express a personal preference that IvyMadness be held at a neutral site.
Henderson commented that some of the freshmen players including Llewellyn, Wright and Jones got a lot of playing time this year; more so than prior years, and how it should be helpful in future years. I tuned him out when he started talking about Saturday's game with Yale.
Finally, Gladson was on and he is recovering from recent surgery and is spending quite a bit of time in rehab. He also mentioned how much time Stephens has spent in the training room during the entire year.
