Why can't Brodeur hit free throws?

Look who makes the call. Again. I’m done with this. Never again. How can this be allowed.

Well, kind of appropriate ending for this season. Too many injuries, not enough firepower or defense. Given all that, not bad that they made the cut and made this interesting. Hopefully, with a healthy Betley, a healthy Wang, and if Williams can finally play, things will be different. Women start approx. 8:30.

Sadly threw the game away here down the stretch, combined with forcing the ball into AJ instead of playing the offense naturally...

We just don’t have the horses without the freshman this year. They are gritty for sure, and played hard, but not enough scoring with just the seniors to win a game like this.

I couldn’t watch as closely as I would have liked because of a family obligation, did Bryce Washington play a single minute? If so was that a coaches decision or lingering injury?

Love the seniors but reality is we really didn’t have enough firepower to win 1 game let alone 2 this weekend if that’s only guys we were going to play. Hope they still get a chance to play one more game though in one of the consolation tournaments.

After all the injuries, they continued to play hard and while frustrating at times, they didn’t give up. Hopefully they remember this feel along with coaching staff and use it as motivation in the off season to come back better than ever for AJ’s senior campaign.

Let’s Go Quakers

Was at the game - valiant effort from the Quakers. I envy you Penn guys who get to watch Brodeur every game - he is a force of nature. Looking forward to seeing your team next year with players back from injury and the incoming class.

P.S. For what it’s worth, sitting here before the second game, it looks like Penn brought the majority of fans. If that’s going to be the case, might as well have the tournament at the Palestra every year and suck it up when Penn has the home court advantage.

Bryce played about two minutes.

This sucks. They just handed it over.

Team did a nice job coming back to get into the tournament. And did not embarrass themselves today. As others have said too many injuries and just not enough firepower. Can't wait until next year--should be a very good team although others in the league will be improved also. I hope the Allen mess does not bring about penalties.

Been a bad last few days for me. Penn, Temple and VT all losing. And the Flyers lose two in a row to essentially be eliminated.

Congrats to Harvard. I thought they made the key plays down the stretch to pull away. Particularly Aikens' step back 3 with Dev on the bench followed by 2 big offensive boards and a couple forced turnovers. I also thought Tommy Amaker did a great job of in game adjustments, which isn't his strength, in putting the right pieces in at the right times. The ball didn't bounce our way, but a large part of that was that Harvard was better.

Noah Kirkwood is a really nice player and is going to be a star in this league alongside the other talent Harvard has coming back. If they stay healthy, I expect them to be a top 25 ranked team at some point next year.

I would have posted this on the Harvard board, but apparently no one but Harvard folks are allowed to post over there.
