37-33 Tigers at HT. Gets scary when Bella is on the bench but Jordan and Bella should be well rested for 2nd half expected onslaught by Kentucky.

Bella's ball skills are remarkable. It would be like Richmond beating the press. Quite an advantage to have in your arsenal. She did miss some wide open 3s' -- would be a big plus if she makes a few of those.

Great job to be up 4 with Alarie spending a good amount of time on the bench and shooting only 3 for 10.

They are fighting indeed and certainly have not yet succumed to the pressure but they have lost some momentum -- might be fatigued.

Kentucky making 3s like crazy -- down 9 pts after 3 quarters. Going to be very tough to overcome - need to get lead down to 5 pts by 4 minutes to go.

Plenty to work on for next year.

KU up 73-63 with 4:43 left. Rush doing a great job with 22 pts (6 of 9 from 3) and Jordan has 15. Alarie has 13 pts, but only 5-19. She is bigger than the KU players and has 5 o-boards, but she has missed a number of shots she normally takes.

KU up 76-71 lead with 30 seconds left. KU has the ball. Need a stop on this possession.

Tough loss. Tigers had their chances. Frustrating that Ivies seem to get so close so often but cannot close.

Missed opportunity.

Meyers will be back next year. There is a road map to get better especially regarding Littlefield.

Alarie another layup to make it 80-75.

Jordan fouls out w/ 21 seconds left.

Howard misses 2 FT, but Littlefield misses 3.

Howard then fouled by Rush and hits 2 FT to make it 82-75.

Alarie misses 3, but it was rebounded by Cunningham, who misses layup. Baur gets board and hits one at the buzzer to finish the game 82-77.

The Tigers were competitive and had KU.

Solid effort by Littlefield and Stone.
Great games by Jordan and Rush.
Great stats from Alarie (20-15-5), but her inefficiency from the field (8-24) was a big difference in the game.

Slightly different view as to Littlefield's performance although her effort was remarkably good. She had trouble in getting the Tiger offense set up due to Murray being in her face. Although 1st team All Ivy, she was overmatched.

My sense is that she needs to get in the gym and really work on her ball handling and especially her quickness. With this type of competition, Tigers needed to do less dribbling and more quick passing.

Banghart coached well but so did the Kentucky coach and he rotated 9 players to keep them fresh regarding pressure.

Best advice for Banghart and Bella, have a very strong non-conference performance next year and do not rely on IvyMadness with Penn and Harvard close behind in the rear view mirror.
