Henderson had his final radio show with Myles and Richmond. He was obviously disappointed with Saturday's result but very proud of the effort. He was careful but you could tell that he was happy with several of the calls on Myles but nothing that you can do about it.
Talked about the performance of Richmond and Jaelin last Saturday including Jaelin holding Copeland to 5-12 FG shooting. Mitch also repeated that Richmond improved more than any player that he has coached in 20 years. Part of Saturday's game plan was for Richmond to dominate.
My sense is that he views the three core players for next year as Richmond, Jaelin and Schweigger -- sky high on these three players. Also, my sense is that he is somewhat enamored with Wright.
Finally, he thought that the Tiger comeback against Yale should have an impact on next year. Time will tell.

Wright has shown flashes in his brief appearances. He's more than a shooter. Surprised Johns wouldn't have gotten some love for his impressive play.

Yes, Wright had a remarkable 24 rebounds (6 offensive) over the final three games, along with 4 steals.
I think the backcourt is pretty set with Llewellyn, Wright, Johns, and Morales, along with incoming 6-4 freshman Ryan Langborg, who should be the best shooter among the group.
The frontcourt should have Aririguzoh, Schwieger, DesRosiers, and Much, with possible contributions from Barnes or Reynoso-Avila. Hopefully Gladson can return as the backup center.
Losing Stephens means losing the team's best wing defender. And the team's interior defense could use some help too - this may be an opening for incoming 6-8 freshman Keeshawn Kellman or 6-7 Konrad Kiszka. And there may still be another impact recruit revealed when Admission decisions are announced later this month.

Based on reading the comments on this forum and the box score, it sounds like the LSU/Yale game had similarities to last Saturday's Princeton/Yale game although the Tiger's opportunity to winning the game was even greater than yesterday's LSU game. I wounder how the Tigers would have done as a probable 15 seed with or without Schweigger.
Very surprising performance at Yale.

Very surprising performance at Yale. Surprised that Mitch did not utilize Richmond down low even more this year. For next year, it would be great if Richmond could shoot a 10 to 12 foot jump shot as he actually has a soft touch on the FT line. He claims that he has been working on it since his freshmen year based on Mitch's radio show.

Final Hard Cuts episode is the best one --- really good camera work in addition to comments from Myles and Richmond prior to and after the Yale IvyMadness game. Camera work during the game was unique and really interesting.
Nice to see the skill and emotion of Jaelin during the game. He will be a force next year to reckon with.

I finally got a chance to watch it. Very well done.
Stephens is an impressive persona on the court and when he speaks.
Looks like Richmond is looking forward to being "the man" next year.
