Some interesting games and upsets so far. UC Irvine and Liberty come through. Murray State should have been a higher seed. And now the second one seed today down at the half. Maybe Iona can keep it closer than Gardner Webb did.

Villanova has a great program and Wright has done a phenomenal job. But it's still fun to see then getting blown out. Especially since I picked Purdue this round in my bracket.

When they announced the brackets, I thought Buffalo got underseeded--that stuck out to me. That is a really, really good team.

They were. Texas Tech is really tough defensively.

Duke was sure lucky today.

Where do we begin? All of the ways Duke could have lost in those final seconds:

Tacko actually fouls Zion hard so he doesn't score
UCF actually rebounds Zion's miss
UCF's initial drive on its last possession doesn't rim out
UCF's putback attempt (where was Duke's defense?) doesn't rim out

Not quite the final seconds, but muffing that alley-op on the fast break when they were up by four was the biggest mistake.

Yes that also hurt. They had numbers on the break and correctly went for the jugular. Did not need to slam it with that degree of difficulty however.
