This ain’t your Uncle Westhead’s LMU. These guys play at just about the slowest pace in D1. They’re also really big inside, with a 7’3 center and a 250 lb power forward. And they have quick guards on the perimeter, making them a really strong defensive team overall, forcing tons of turnovers and defending the 3 ball very well. On offense they get it in the paint, draw a lot of fouls and they convert them.
They’re a tough draw for the short-handed (and short) Bears. Choh definitely has a quickness advantage that he’ll need. Wondering if you might see more of Gainey at times, or even Fuller playing not too far from home. The other big question is Anderson and whether or not he’s back - and if he is, whether or not he’s rusty.
LET'S go BRU-no (duh. nuh. nuh-nuh-nuh) |
