The Vermont coach announced his non-conference games at a press conference yesterday.

https://www.mynbc5.com/article/uvm-hoops-to- visit-...

Vermont will travel to Yale, Harvard and Dartmouth.

Vermont may also play Columbia as part of a four-team bracket in the Hall of Fame Tip Off Classic at Mohegan Sun.

Looking at the Busting the Bracket and last year's Tip Off Classic sites, the Tournament has two four team divisions. The four teams in the mid-major bracket will play two games on the road against the other division before playing the 2 games in their bracket at Mohegan Sun during Thanksgiving weekend (Friday Nov 22 - Sunday Nov 24).

Columbia is in the Springfield Bracket with Vermont, Central Connecticut State and Rider. The Naismith Bracket has Arizona State, UMass-Amherst, Virginia and St. John's.

https://www.bloggingthebracket.com/2018/10/24/1802...

Looking farther down the Busting the Brackets page, Harvard will be playing in the Orlando Invitational on 11/28/19, 11/29/19 and 12/1/19. The other teams are Davidson, Fairfield, Marquette, Maryland, Temple, Texas A&M and USC.

Penn will be in the Wooden Legacy on 11/28/19, 11/29/19 and 12/1/19. The field also includes Arizona (and Stone Gettings), College of Charleston, Long Beach State, Pepperdine, Providence, UCF and Wake Forest.

On the 3/26 installment of The Court Report, Coach Banghart said that the schedule for next year is set. She said that Princeton will get a number of return home games, but did not give specifics.

She did say that her team will visit Iowa (2nd in Big 10 Regular Season and Big 10 Tournament Champs), Iowa State (2nd in Big 12), Missouri (5th in SEC) and St. Louis (6th in A-10).

She mentioned that the Iowa games will be for Carlie Littlefield, who is from Iowa. The games against Missouri and the Billikens are most likely for soon-to-be senior Taylor Baur, who is from St. Louis.

Jon Rothstein reporting that Penn will be playing at Providence next year. That could be quite a test — they're 26th in Torvik's projections for next year — but still should be a winnable game.

Hopefully we get a lot more of this from all the Ivies.

Per Jon Rothstein, the Yale men will visit Penn State and North Carolina next season. Also, the Columbia men will visit Wake Forest.

Harvard will take on Buffalo in Toronto at Scotiabank Arena on November 16th, as part of a triple header (Washington vs Tennessee and Rutgers vs South Carolina are the other two games).

https://www.sportingnews.com/us/ncaa-basketball/ne ...

Also, I believe Coach Banghart's mentioned in her last Court Report in late March that the Tigers will host Penn State after visiting the Nittany Lions last season.

Quinnipiac women released its schedule.
Quinnipiac at Yale on 11/13/19
Harvard at Quinnipiac on 11/30/19

The Quinnipiac men released its schedule and only have the 11/13/19 game at Brown that was posted on Brown's schedule a few weeks ago.

In Harvard news, Maryland announced it is playing at home against Fairfield in a non-bracketed game before the Orlando Invitational. Temple will be visiting USC in another non-bracketed game. That leaves Marquette, Davidson and Texas A&M, if Harvard is going to play a non-bracketed game for that tournament.

Yale's games at Penn State and at Oklahoma State look like they are part of the pre-season NIT.

Penn's game at Providence is a non-bracketed game for the Wooden Legacy Tournament.

It does not strike me as an overly impressive schedule. Pehaps, some non-conference teams did not want to play Harvard this year.

The degree of difficulty, or lack thereof, is always a factor for NCAA tournament seeding. I thought that Amaker might have assembled a more challenging schedule.

Harvard thread agrees with you.

If Harvard can remain healthy and achieve consistency, this could be a 25+ win season. If the Crimson can do that and surprise at Advocare International in Orlando over Thanksgiving against the likes of Texas A&M and Maryland, this could surpass 2012 and 2014 squads. Amaker has historically had his teams prepared for in season tournaments (Alaska, Atlantis, Maui)

The idea that top 25 teams don't want to play an Ivy team is pretty much fallacy. Probably even any of the top 50 teams aren't regularly avoiding any Ivy team, regardless of their outlook. More than likely schedules just haven't worked out. Scheduling is much more difficult these days than in the past.

Henderson had a very challenging non-conference schedule when Spencer and Cook were seniors. They had some missteps but it strikes me if you have a very good upper class team get the toughest schedule that you can get.

If you perform well non-conference with a tough schedule and win the Ivies, Harvard might draw a higher seed than winning but playing lesser competition.

Hopefully, some of the Crimson non-conference opponents turn out to be stronger than what they appear on paper -- you never know.

Princeton will play at Indiana on November 20 as part of the "Indiana Challenge", which Indiana refers to as a 5 team MTE with games against Troy, Princeton, Louisiana Tech and South Dakota State. Not clear if Princeton will also be playing multiple games as part of this event or not

I'm not sure if Princeton will play any of the other teams.

Of the four non-Indiana teams in the Indiana Challenge, only South Dakota State has posted in 2019-2020 schedule. The Jackrabbits do not list any games against Princeton, Troy or Louisiana Tech.
