Working under Billy Lange - who was a victim of Griffin's most famous shot.

Sadly this seems to be confirmed. Anxious to see who steps in to replace him

Sad news for Bucknell, imo. But def good for John to be at home. I sensed a little frustration via body language while on the Bucknell sideline as well, but maybe I’m wrong. Best of luck to John and his family...thanks for your time and talents.

John will be missed very much. He in my opinion was the glue that kept this team going in the right direction at times. A great hire by Saint Joes. John is going to make a great head coach in the not to distant future. Best wishes my friend you will be missed!

It was only a matter of time for John. He will make a great head coach very soon. Hopefully the
Bison can keep the Philly connection open in the
future, as far as recruiting. Best of Luck to him!

That is a good move for Griffin's career.
New season, new team, new dream . . .

article on the assembly of St Joe's staff. interesting info that Griffin had interviewed with Lange three different occasions when he was with the Sixers.
