Assuming this will be a home and home it means the Bison will be coming to Hempstead in 2020. I’d love to see this series continue for a while as it is a CAA team, a good program, but one with which we can compete over the long haul.

Yes, awesome. It also raises another question: Is this part of a doubleheader? It is relatively expensive to rent the Palestra - especially when it is being used for a game between Christmas and New Year's that won't draw a big crowd. So is another Philly school (or two) also playing there on that date? Or was this part of an agreement for Bucknell to play a three-for-one with LaSalle? Or some other deal?

I think that is 11 known OOC games. Since the Bison are playing a four-game MTE, they are allowed to play 31 games in total - which means a max of 13 OOC games. Last year they played 12 and that may be the case this year. In 2017-18 they did play the max of 13.

From briefly looking at Hofstra's roster, they look a bit shallow at the center position or 4/5...this is good for us and potentially a great opportunity for Tre to have a great game early...Little bit of size but not much experience, I am hoping for a more extended version of what he did to St Bonaventure last fall

Looks like there is plenty of room to schedule the Rider game plus two more between November 26 and the beginning of exams. Probably two home games, including Rider. Exams are six days later this year than in 2018, running from December 12th to December 19th. Btw, it is not up on the PL site, but I am fairly sure the first PL game will be Thursday January 2nd.

MrPhillie, I am having a difficult time understanding your "terrible" comment. Other than a shortage of home games, IMO, it is a pretty good schedule. The Bison are playing a few good teams (Vermont, Syracuse, possibly Yale), two power schools (Penn State, Syracuse), a few fairly local away games (Penn State, Syracuse, LaSalle), and a game at the Palestra (LaSalle). Also, Rider might end up being a home game. Those are some fun teams to play. I'm more excited about this schedule than some schedules in the past.
