Let's not forget that there are likely still three games to be announced. I will be surprised if tow of them - including Rider - are not home games.

89, my terrible comment is in reference to the number of home games known at this time, NOT the schedule overall. Yes, I like the quality of opponents but as a local fan, would like a chance to see the Bison play more than 2-3 games. I can make LaSalle and PSU but otherwise it is difficult to travel for me.

MrPhillie, thanks for the clarification. I can see where it can be frustrating with so few OOC home games.
I wonder if the Bison would ever consider playing a game or two at a bigger venue like the Giant Center in Hershey to bring in some power teams. It seats 10,500 and looks like a very nice venue.

Glad to see Princeton back on the schedule. Missed having an Ivy League game last year. Albany is a good opponent too.

Yes, Princeton is one of the teams that I always like to see on the schedule. Would like to see a series with Penn as well. Also would like to see a series with Columbia since the away games at Columbia have drawn great Bison crowds due to the number of alums who work in NYC, Hoboken, Jersey City, etc.
Albany is a name - and they have been good in the past - but last year they were awful. They were 12-20 and ranked #279 by Pomeroy. However they only lost one senior and had a bunch of good frosh last year, so I expect them to be a lot better.

Here is the schedule with the days of the week included:
Nov. 5 (TUE) at Fairfield
Nov. 10 (SAT) vs. VERMONT
Nov. 13 (WED) vs. HOFSTRA
Nov. 16 (SAT) at Canisius
Nov. 19 (TUE) at Penn State
Nov. 23 (SAT) at Syracuse
Nov. 25 (MON) vs. Seattle (Orlando, Fla.)
Nov. 26 (TUE) vs. Western Michigan or Yale (Orlando, Fla.)
Nov. 30 (SAT) vs. PRINCETON
Dec. 3 (TUE) at Rider
Dec. 7 (SAT) vs. ALBANY
Dec. 21 (SAT) at Siena
Dec. 29 (SUN) at La Salle (at The Palestra)
I really like the way this schedule is laid out. Three of the four home games are on Saturday, and three of the four take place when students are on campus. Also Syracuse and Siena on Saturdays. And La Salle on Sunday in the Palestra to cap it off.

As I was reading the schedule I thought, “ I have to see what days of the week of these games†and just like that, the work was done for me! Thanks 137. I’m so glad there are four home games and against good opponents. Plus I know I get to two maybe three away games.

It’s a little lackluster for me. I would have liked two or three more games against bigger schools.

With the team not looking as strong this year, I think it's a really good schedule. True, there are only two P6-conference teams - but there are a lot of other good teams. Vermont and Hofstra are solid top 100 teams, better than a number of P6-conference teams and favorites to win their conferences. Rider will also be picked by many to win the MAAC and Princeton should be much improved. Also Stony Brook was 24-9 last year and should be better this year. And Yale, who they are likely to play, won the Ivy last year.

Stony Brook????
Not sure how that one slipped in. Was thinking about fellow SUNY school Albany, who typically is also a strong America East team.

As a Rail buff and closet Bison fan interested in the game at the Palestra, I got out my SEPTA senior citizen pass, drove to Lansdale, took the train to 30th Street station, and walked the four blocks to the Penn ticket office at Franklin Field. Rang the buzzer and asked the young man if the Bucknell/LaSalle game was a double header. He went to the back and talked to someone. (????) According to him Penn doesn't play that day, and it's currently only a single game. Time still unknown. Was hoping for more info. But unless Lehigh plays that day I intend to be there.

Season ticket order forms went out today with the home game schedule. Still don't have the full schedule up on the website.

Not thrilled with the Bison PL schedule:
- Prior to students returning, three of their four games are at home.
- Five of the last seven games are on the road.
- No PL men/women doubleheader
At least five of the nine home games are on Saturdays.
