Anyone know why our game at Army on Wednesday January 29th is at 11:00am?

Hadn't noticed that. Army the last few years has started having an Education Day where they bring in a large number of elementary school students for some sort of educational program plus a game. Bucknell and some other PL schools have done this for women's games, but I think only Army schedules a men's game for their program. Given that Army has almost no season ticket holders, they don't inconvenience many fans - and Education Day has produced their largest crowds other than the Navy game.

Btw, the Bison women have drawn nearly 2000 fans for the past couple Education Days.

Only guess is that Army does not have classes that day and playing at 11am allows Bucknell to get home in the late afternoon rather than the next morning. They already will be there Tuesday night so it should not be too signifcant

It's definitely due to Education Day.

That is a great idea to build local support. I guess that the Bison have such a strong base that this is not needed.
New season, new team, new dream . . .

As I mentioned above, the Bison do have an Education Day - but it is for a women's game. Most PL teams have an Education Day (Bucknell, Lafayette, Lehigh, Holy Cross, American, Boston U,Loyola, and Colgate), but only Army has it for a men's game. Presumably that is because there are far fewer season ticketholders for the women's games.
