Rising junior Chris Tanabe won the PA Amateur today at Aronomink CC, which is located west of Philly and is one of the state's top few courses. Tanabe had an amazing 28 on the front nine Tuesday and he used that to hold off a member of Stanford's national championship golf team. Tanabe was All-PL in the spring and was PA state champ his senior year in HS

Bison men's golf coach, Mike Binney, was featured on Fox the other day, talking about how the Bison golfers honor U.S. fallen heroes. Binney, btw, served 20+ years as a Marine Corps major, flying attack helicopters in such places as Somalia, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He became a golf pro after his retirement from the Marines.
