Interesting item in the announcement:

"New for 2019-20 is VIP Courtside Seating. Located directly across from the Bucknell bench, the VIP seats coast $500 each, and also include a free game program, access to the Backcourt Club hospitality area, guaranteed giveaway at promotional games, and a free drink tumbler. VIP seats for 2019-20 are already SOLD OUT, but fans are encouraged to be on the lookout for sales for the 2020-21 season."

I assume they're removing part of the press table and putting these seats on the floor.

Yes, I assume the same. Should be interesting seats. What I don't understand is how those seats were "sold out" even before the seating ticket applications were mailed out.

Most likely sold through corporate/advertising packages and/or to top Bison club donors. Assuming they keep TV/radio/stats at midcourt, they will need to move other media. Most places move the tables to the baseline which actually could show better in TV games than half-filled bleachers.
