Holy Cross board currently is polling members as to how many different venues people have seen games in (presumably D1 games only). I listed 67 and the question was posed as to how my list compares to BRW. I know he has seen more big-time Bison games than I have. But I likely am ahead on midmajor venues. Also I have him beat with a few very old arenas that no longer exist.
BRW, can you post your lifetime list for college hoops games? Also KenZ or others, please feel to chime in.

Yes, I sure will, but it will be a few days til I can. I think you may be right that you've got the overall edge and it will be fun to see if that's the case.

My list won’t come close to you other guys but I might as well share.
Teams Arenas I’ve been to (14): American, Army, Bucknell Davis and Sojka), Colgate, Lafayette, La Salle; Lehigh, Maryland, Monmouth, Mt. St. Mary’s, Navy, North Carolina, Penn State, Villanova
Personal goal is to get to the 3 remaining patriot league arenas I haven’t been to in the next few years (Boston, Holy Cross, Loyola).
Another goal is to get to the 8 remaining D-1 Pennsylvania arenas I haven’t been to (Drexel, Duquesne, Penn, Pittsburgh, Robert Morris, Temple, St, Francis, St. Joes).

our former player(s) and managers should have some interesting lists just from their time with the team.
given the little snit on the HC board, do we need to define more carefully than D1 games. i don't see e.g. Susquehanna on your list, but likely we older folks hit Bucknell games at non D1 venues. West Chester an interesting case.
okay, typing this i think the HC crowd made me think too much, just post what seems relevant to you, add explanation if/as necessary or interesting.
p.s. 137, you posted multiple venues for several schools, but failed to count two, Davis and Sojka, for Bucknell.

Here's my list, although I may be missing a few. I only included ones where I saw a college game. There are some others where I saw pro hoops or hockey (or concerts). I definitely don't have the quality of high-level games that BRW has.

Yes, major error on my fault - now corrected - to not list two Bison venues. EDIT: I just realized that I also forgot to list two venues for Army. Also forgot Carnesecca Arena, where I have seen St. John's games (but not against Bucknell). So my total is 70.
As for D3 gyms, I would tend to include them - but I never saw a game at any of them. Never traveled to West Chester or Gettysburg. Counting those games likely won't affect many lists, as I think the last D2/D3 venue in which Bucknell played was Utica in a 1984 Christmas tournament. They last played at Gettysburg and at West Chester in 1981-82. However anyone who was traveling to games prior to 1981 theoretically could have gone to places like Bloomsburg, CMU, Rochester, Upsala, Scranton, Albright, Wilkes, and Dickinson. I never did.

Pottsville (Bucknell v. Penn)
I was wondering if anyone had gone to Pottsville for one of the Bison games there. Martz Hall has to among the most unique places the Bison have played. Although not the most luxurious by any means, I'd rather play there than in Stabler or a couple other PL venues.

Husky, my younger son and I were just in Orlando and Gainesville this past Thurs and Fri. He is considering applying to U of Florida. Mrs. Bison89 and I have talked about coming down to Orlando Nov. 25 & 26, but it will probably be a last minute decision. If it happens, I will private message you.

Cannot believe I forgot Dallas Reunion Arena (Bucknell vs Syracuse in NCAAs). Also, failed to mention that I have seen games in multiple venues at Navy and George Mason. This was such a fun exercise for an old CBB fanatic. As one who cannot remember what I had for dinner last night, it is amazing how many memories come flooding back when thinking about the different games at these arenas. Like the earlier game at George Mason I just referenced ... first game of the Bison's 84-85 season; it was the same day as Doug Flutie's miracle TD pass against Miami which was all of the buzz in the gym for opening night of a basketball season. It's crazy the things we remember.

And, for all of the memories, the best are reserved for Davis Gym, circa 1978-1989. Absolutely AWESOME.

Correction: 71 venues for Bucknell men.
I counted the Verizon Center in DC twice, as I'd seen them play George Mason there in 2006 in addition to the 2011 NCAA tournament game.

I just quickly counted 32 during my "playing" days. I will list them in a second post later, with all the other places as well. I'm sure I haven't hit the rarefied air of BRW yet.
But I don't think anyone mentioned that "wonderful" neutral court for the Patriot League Tournament - The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, MD. Home of the PLC from 2002-2004.
I too am counting all the places I have personally been to see a College Basketball game, including tournament venues.

Yes! Good one. I also attended an NEC championship in Trenton's Sovereign Arena. And I cannot believe I forgot one of my most enjoyable experiences ever ... getting to meet Dean Smith when Towson "hosted" North Carolina at the old Hersheypark Arena. Coach Smith tried to play a game in the home area of each senior. The game in Hershey was for Carlisle's Jeff Lebo.

I saw Lafayette at Fordham in the late '80s. It was nothing to be jealous over. :-)
