Seth has always been intentionally cryptic in his messaging. However, to be eligible for your esteemed award the story needs to be 'bad' - sounds like there is light at the end of this tunnel and so Seth will be ineligible.

Let's hope for Seth's sake that there is a positive ending as this exceptional athlete has endured over 18 months of pain, hardship and difficult rehabilitation, all while remaining in school and valuing his education, responsibilities and opportunities. A great teammate, the photo of Seth showing pure joy while holding last year's Ivy Championship trophy is a testament to his dedication.

Seth, those that care are looking forward to bigger and better things from you, both on and off the court!

I was kidding, of course, but for your information, the "story" does not have to be bad (since no story exists)--it is the prose that is judged.

Of course. Entries must relate to a "hypothetical bad novel," and I understand the distinction between the writing and the story.

From my perspective, a healthy and successful return for Seth is a good story, regardless of the prose.

A healthy Seth “Smooth” Towns elevates this team to a very healthy favorite for the league and to a decent shot at a fIt-looking OOC record. Funny to think of such an un-flashy but substantive player winning an award named after Dr. J.

So SB Nation has Crimson at #8 and mentions that Seth Towns is a potential late 2nd round draft pick if he can regain form.

Vermont selected at #7 and certainly Gonzaga, St. Mary's and Memphis will be listed even higher. Too bad recent matchups vs Vermont, St. Mary's and Memphis (a few years ago) aren't continuing.

Writeup focuses on Seth's healthy, team depth but also notes that Harvard's schedule doesn't provide many games for Crimson to make a statement. Concludes that Harvard could be a scary 12 seed. Twelve seed is advantageous as it draws a 5 seed and then 4/13 seed.
