Your exact stats are admittedly better than my eyeballed estimates. Two caveats though. Two of those six games went into OT, so Tape/Nweke had 5 more minutes in a third of the games. Also, Tape/Nweke were playing all of the center minutes, while Nweke/Smoyer only layer 36 of 40. So you get a little Brumant in there on Tuesday as well. Brumant didn’t score much. No idea if he scored his basket with or without a center on the floor, but he could have added.
Anyway, you’ve proven I went a little too far with my claim, but the basic point still seems valid — it is likely that not having Tape wasn’t a huge double digit swing in the game.

You're right--the two OT games do inflate the numbers, which are probably only slightly better than your original eyeballing. But I think it was Chet, not I, who claimed that Tape would have produced a double-digit swing in the game. With Tape, I think we would have won by as much as we lost--two to three points or so.
As much as it galls me, I will now stop railing about Tape's absence. All we can hope for is that the experience born of new-found playing time makes us decently competitive by years' end.

Yes, it was me, Fulvio, still living by the code of Omertà drilled into me in the playgrounds of Hackensack, NJ. Although I have vowed not to continue to vent on He Whose Name Will No Longer Be Mentioned, at least by me, I have no doubt but that we would otherwise have won by 10-15, going away.
