Heck of a game. Yale drops a close one against a good USF team.
Bruner went 1-6 from three, including 2 late misses in OT.
Atkinson with 22 and Matthue Cotton coming off the bench with 16. Monroe had 10 points, 5 assists and only 1 turnover.
Similar to the SB game, Yale is basically going 6 deep. That would be tough for most teams, but not one coached by James Jones. His guys really know their roles and play them well.
The SB and USF games had low assist rates, which is a bit of a surprise for Yale. I'm guessing the coach works on that over the next few weeks.
These guys will be a tough out during league play.

Final score in OT: USF 84, Yale 79
In the final minute of regulation USF failed to put the game away by missing 2 of 4 foul shots. Yale trailed by three. Brunner's 3 point attempt to tie from the top of the key was blocked. The loose ball went to Cotton who hit the three to send the game into overtime.
Yale took a timeout, down 3, with 33 seconds remaining in overtime. Brunner had an open 3 from the wing with 4 seconds remaining on the shot clock. Brunner missed, and USF iced the game with two foul shots.
Atkinson led Yale with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Cotton had 16 including 4-5 from beyond the arc.
