River Hawk Invitational Nov 15-17
Nov 15 (Fri) 4:30 PM vs Merrimack KP: 284
Freshly minted DI Merrimack enters the NEC at a projected 8th place finish. They were the Northeast 10 conference champion last year. They also return 5 top scorers.

Update: originally unranked Merrimack beat a higher rates Big 10 team in Northwestern. After losing their first game to Maine. We shouldn't take them lightly. They are a very dangerous team. They have nothing to fear and no limits. This is very powerful psychological juice.

The Merrimack women played Dartmouth pretty tough last night, but came up short.

An impressive showing in its own way.

The rare Dartmouth opponent that is signficantly undersized and it showed. Dartmouth won the battle of the boards 45-26,

Dartmouth came back from 12 points down, as Merrimack hit several first half threes and Dartmouth did not.

Green definitely stepped up the defense to start the second, and went on a 17-3 run. Couple threes from Sistare helped. Three buckets inside by Knight did the same.

Merrimack wasn't a bad team (and had just knocked off Northwestern on the road) so this has to be encouraging.
